I’ve been very busy this month, making cards for a wedding that’s over in the U.S. I was very lucky to be commissioned to do 5 cards by some of the people attending this wedding – and all through word of mouth too! I haven’t ever made this many cards for the one event before and I must say it certainly is challenging. The briefs are somewhat similar, being that the colour scheme and theme remains the same. Which means I have been trying to come up with pretty wedding cards that all conform to the brief whilst looking quite different from each other (since they are all for the couple being married!).
I haven’t really had the time to work on any crafting just for fun and even though I really enjoyed making the wedding cards, it will be nice to make something completed unrelated to matrimony!! I get back to my craft nook on Tuesday evening next week (I’m at my parents this weekend, then I am visiting a friend in Wexford) and I think I am going to have some major stamp organising fun, followed by some Christmas card making! I know there are some packages in the mail for me so with luck they will have arrived by then!
Unfortunately I can’t show any photos of the cards until the wedding is over on the (very slim!) off chance that someone going sees them beforehand, but I will show them all after the 23rd of October!
Thanks for stopping by, and have a great weekend! 🙂
